Keeping Business Going in Any Weather
Commercial properties can't leave anything to chance when it comes to dealing with Old Man Winter. When bad weather hits, they have to be able to keep the ground beneath customers' and employees' feet safe and ice-free. Otherwise, customers flee and employees can't do their jobs.
That means generous portions of rock salt. Rock salt, or sodium chloride, has been used as a de-icer since the 1940s. Available in 50-lb. bags, you can store it in the company warehouse or in an outdoor shed, and it will last through the winter. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind, since liberal applications of rock salt reduce the chances that a customer or staff member will slip, fall and sue.
